“Dad’s anxiety has reduced and it’s lovely to see him smile again. He enjoys his food and wandering around to see what’s going on, keeping him mobile.”
Welcome to your new home, beautiful Victorian rectory with modern extensions, next to Holmer’s ancient Parish Church. We’ve preserved the original features of the rectory – high ceilings, grand windows and traditional fireplaces – while updating the décor and installing high specification heating and telecommunications systems throughout. The integration of new and old enables us to offer the right accommodation for each resident’s needs.
Inside, you’ll find two spacious dining rooms, three homely communal living rooms, and a hairdressing room. Holmer Manor also offers space for services such as convalescent care, physiotherapy, dentistry, opticians and visiting GPs, ensuring we can cater for all your personal and medical needs as they arise.
We do not restrict visiting hours. Your family and friends are welcome to visit whenever it fits your schedule and theirs. Our investment in phone and video technology also allows you to connect with family and friends at any time, and our team is always available to help if necessary.
We welcome friends and family
There are comfortable seating areas dotted around Holmer Manor, and you’re welcome to take part in the range of activities on offer there, ranging from playing board games, crafting, or simply listening to music. We also provide mental and physical therapeutic offerings, offering stimulation and support. Our interactive activities are tailored to your interests, but the care team and visitors are also encouraged to take part!
You can also relax and exercise in the garden area whenever you wish. Our outdoor spaces are all wheelchair accessible and secure, ensuring you’re safe at all times. These outdoor areas offer you fresh air and lovely surroundings, alongside the freedom to choose where you spend your time.
