“My father loves living here and tells me so every week – he says he wouldn’t want to live anywhere else! We are so glad that we found Field House.”
Welcome to your new home, a beautifully maintained Grade II listed building, nestled in 10 acres of parkland in the countryside between Stourbridge and Kidderminster. We’ve preserved the building’s original character—the high ceilings, period features, and elegant proportions—while adding modern accessibility features, high specification heating and telecommunications systems throughout.
The Main House is linked and fully integrated with the nearby Coach House and Cottage for maximum efficiency and comfort. Having these separate areas means that we are able to take great care when assessing a resident’s care needs and ensure that their accommodation is appropriately placed within a setting that best meets their care needs.
Inside, you’ll find spacious dining rooms in the Main House and Cottage, homely communal living rooms, multiple other communal areas, a hairdressing room and a fully functioning pub!
Field House also offers space for services such as convalescent care, physiotherapy, dentistry, opticians and visiting GPs, ensuring we can cater for all your personal and medical needs as they arise.
We welcome friends and family
We do not restrict visiting hours. Your family and friends are welcome to visit whenever it fits your schedule and theirs. Our investment in phone and video technology also allows you to connect with family and friends at any time, and our team is always available to help if necessary.
There are comfortable seating areas dotted around Field House, and you’re welcome to take part in the range of activities on offer there, ranging from playing board games, crafting, or simply listening to music. We also provide mental and physical therapeutic offerings, offering stimulation and support. Our dedicated Activity Coordinators tailored our activities to your interests, but the care team and visitors are also encouraged to take part!
You can also relax and exercise in the various gardens whenever you wish. You can stroll in the lovely walled Italian garden and watch the ducks on the pond there or explore the 10 acres of grounds. Our gardens are all wheelchair accessible and secure, ensuring you’re safe at all times – and our wider parkland is perfect for grandchildren to play in! These outdoor spaces offer you fresh air and beautiful surroundings, alongside the freedom to choose where you spend your time.
