Types of Care

Home / Park House/ Types of Care

“My husband settled very quickly at Park House and became much calmer, I attribute this to the care and knowledge of the staff. “

Park House offers outstanding advanced dementia care, nursing care for those with mental health conditions and also palliative care, with specialist support available 24 hours a day.

Dignity and respect are at the heart of everything we do. Our warm and welcoming community, set in a beautiful traditional building in the hamlet of Kinlet on the Worcestershire/Shropshire border, is designed to help residents live life as fully as possible in their new forever home.

When they join the “Park House Family,” residents receive an 18-section care plan, created by the care team in collaboration with them, their family and medical professionals. This allows us to provide the best quality, individualised support. Care plans are constantly monitored and adapted in discussion with the resident and their family to consider their evolving personal wishes, needs and requirements.

We work closely with professionals

At Park House we have extremely close working relationships with local healthcare professionals such as community nurses, GPs, opticians, dentists and occupational therapists as well as hairdressers, beauty therapists and chiropodists, to look after all aspects of our residents’ health and wellbeing.

Food is important to us

Food is a very important part of life at Park House. Meals are a social occasion to enjoy with others, and our team works hard to ensure that there is a wide variety of delicious options that appeal to everyone. The chef team provides nutritious meals and snacks to support good health, with individual diets and preferences always catered for (as part of each resident’s care plan). We also fully understand the importance of hydration and balanced nutrition.
