“My father received superb, loving and attentive care at the end of his life. Thank you for all you have done for Dad.”
Palliative Care
Our palliative care service is for residents with a terminal illness who are close to the end of their journey. Dealing with pain and other physical symptoms is important, but at this stage of someone’s life, we believe that maximising overall wellbeing and providing emotional support is just as vital.

Making the decision
The decision to begin palliative care is a collaboration between the healthcare team, family members and wherever possible, the individual. If someone has received all the treatments that might change the course of their illness, the next step is to focus on comfort and quality of life. Our goal is to achieve the very best quality of life for you and your family during this difficult but incredibly important time.
