What to expect from Adult Day Care:

Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–4pm

A typical day includes:

• 9:00am – Arrival with tea and biscuits, catch up with friends
• 10:30am – Morning activity based on residents’ interests (examples could include watercolour painting, board games or gardening)
• 12:30pm – Two-course lunch prepared by our in-house chefs
• 2:00pm – Afternoon entertainment or gentle exercise
• 3:30pm – Afternoon tea before going home

The team at every Heartlands Care home love to welcome Adult Day Care residents to enjoy our fantastic facilities, supporting all aspects of health and wellbeing.

In addition to companionship, help with day-to-day personal needs and a supportive, friendly environment, you’ll also enjoy our comprehensive activity programme designed to promote your health and wellbeing.

Our comfortable communal areas make it easy to socialise with other residents. There are nutritious and delicious home-cooked meals and snacks available throughout the day. And our compassionate, expert team provides personal care tailored to your needs.

Our care team offers support for all types of care needs, including specialist dementia care. Many of our Adult Day Care guests find their experience so enjoyable that they choose to make a home with us for full-time residential or nursing care.

As with all care options at Heartlands Care, family and friends can remain involved in their loved ones’ care via our Family Portal, and our management team is always available for support.
