Who is Residential Care for?

You might consider residential care with us if you or your loved one:

  • Finds daily tasks like washing, dressing, or meal preparation increasingly difficult
  • Feels isolated or lonely living alone
  • Needs medication support throughout the day
  • Would benefit from regular, nutritious meals and more social interaction
  • Requires more support than family can safely provide at home

When you move in, you’ll have your own spacious room (bring your favourite armchair, family photos, and small furniture pieces). You’ll choose when to join communal activities or relax privately. Your personalised care plan covers everything from what time you prefer to wake up to your favourite afternoon snack.

What to expect from Residential Care at Heartlands Care:

Your care team:

  • Our Registered Manager, Deputy Manager and Clinical Lead on-site five days a week
  • All care staff NVQ Level 2 qualified minimum, with many holding Level 3 and specialist qualifications. We require staff to pass a minimum of 25 training courses with many additional options, regular updates and competency checks.

Your daily life:

  • Nutritious, balanced meals prepared by our in-house chef team

Your accommodation:

Rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished and maintained to a very high standard. When you join us, we encourage you to bring small items of furniture, pictures, ornaments and furnishings to help you feel comfortable and relaxed.

We understand that moving into a care home can be daunting. Our experienced team are keen to support families in making this step a positive, stress-free and happy experience for everyone. We aim to give every resident a new lease of life when they make their home with us, and our family management team is always available to chat through any queries you have.
